Terms of Service
Last updated: April 14, 2026
1. Acceptance
SnapSharp (snapsharp.dev) is operated by an individual ("we", "us", "SnapSharp"). Payments and billing are processed by Lemon Squeezy LLC (lemon.squeezy.com), who acts as our Merchant of Record and is responsible for payment processing, applicable taxes, and refund handling on our behalf.
By using SnapSharp, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. Acceptable use
You may use SnapSharp for lawful purposes only. You may not use the API to capture content that violates copyright, to attack or monitor systems without authorization, or to generate illegal content. You may not submit URLs or HTML that target private IP ranges, internal networks, or cloud metadata services (such as 169.254.169.254). You are solely responsible for ensuring you have authorization to capture content from any target URL, and for ensuring your use complies with the terms of service and intellectual property rights of any third-party websites you capture.
3. API keys
Your API keys are confidential. You are responsible for all usage under your keys. Do not share keys or embed them in public client-side code.
If your API key is compromised: immediately revoke it from your API Keys dashboard and create a new key. Contact [email protected] if you believe unauthorized usage has occurred — we will review your logs and assist with any billing adjustments.
4. Service limits
Usage is subject to plan limits (monthly requests, rate per minute). Exceeding limits will result in 429 responses. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service.
5. Availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime on Business and Enterprise plans. No SLA applies to Free or Starter plans. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
7. Refund policy
You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, for any reason. To request a refund, contact [email protected]. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. After the 14-day refund window, cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No pro-rata refunds are issued for unused portions of a subscription period.
8. AI-generated content
Certain SnapSharp features — including /v1/analyze, /v1/extract, Site Audit AI recommendations, and OG image auto-generation — use artificial intelligence to produce outputs. AI outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific context. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and deciding whether to use any AI-generated output. SnapSharp makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated content.
9. API key security and compromise
You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential. If you believe your API key has been compromised, you must revoke it immediately from your dashboard under API Keys → Revoke. After revoking, generate a new key before resuming use of the API. You can contact [email protected] for assistance if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. SnapSharp is not liable for any damage arising from your failure to promptly revoke a compromised key.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SnapSharp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. SnapSharp's total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to SnapSharp in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts competent for the operator of SnapSharp.
